Today, we need to discuss the difference between broadcasts and follow-ups…
These are the two types of email that you can send to your new leads once you’ve gotten them to subscribe.
A broadcast is a one-time message that you send to ALL of your subscribers at once. So you send the email now, and everyone gets it now.
A follow-up is an email that you load into your autoresponder and it goes out to all new subscribers at a time of your choosing.
For example, if Becky signs up today, then she’ll get your first email immediately, your 2nd email tomorrow, your 3rd email the next day…
And so on.
Then, if Rob signs up next week, he’ll also receive your first email the day he signs up, your 2nd email the next day, etc.
The autoresponder I recommend has a great support system and even then if you need help with getting your head around it, feel free to contact me.
The benefits of having a follow-up series is that it frees you up to focus solely on driving traffic into your funnel…
As your emails do the rest for you.
If you’re sending broadcasts, you constantly need to be on the lookout for new offers to review and promote.
More work, obviously.
But on the upside to going the broadcast route, EVERYONE is getting your email…
Which means a whole lot more people will open your email in a given day…
Which means more people clicking on your links and buying stuff. 🙂
